This past Wednesday, Maddie got her braces put on. A whole week before school begins. Look how pretty she makes them look! She is getting used to talking funny and using up all her wax because gosh darn it....they hurt!
As long as I'm posting something...................Well I thought I'd be smart and put pictures of the kids on the first day of school....although it doesn't start for a few more days. I thought, "well heck, while I'm at it- I'll add a first day of school post!" See.......this saves me having to post something else for a while. So I made the kids get dressed up in the outfit of their choice and pose for me.
Maddie will be starting Jr. High and going into the 7th grade.
Jaden is starting the third grade this year.

Supercalifragilisticexpiallidociously CUTE! I think I always fake the first day of school pictures, but I do it LATE, not EARLY because the first day always ends up being to chaotic for me to remember and take pictures. I still have to fake Alyssa's first day...she started July 23rd...Next year, I think I'll fake them in the dressing rooms when she tries on her outfits...hmmm...that's a good idea...

Cool! I started Fourth grade! My school started August 12th. Cool braces maddie! Go Cowboys Jaden!
Deb, YOur kids are so very cute. I love the very manly football uniform! I hope he is having a log of fun. And the smile on your daugher is beautiful! Poor girl, I remember how much new braces hurt. Tell her it get's less painful as your mouth get's used to it.

Hahaha! You ARE hilarious to make them put on their clothes early! I could never have gotten Brooklyn & Kenna to decide on ONE outfit, though! Love Maddie's belt. So cute. her hips are so pretty & womanly! Our girl GREW UP! Waah!
Fall is in the air...football, beginning of school, and all that jazz! The picts are fabulous...and I must admit...I took the girls "1st day of school" picture today...Sunday...2 1/2 weeks after school started. Don't tell. Silly us.
Poor Maddie! Tiff has had her braces for over a year and she's really hoping to get them off soon! A very cute boy in our ward had his braces on for THREE YEARS! Isn't that terrible! But he has them off now and he looks great.
Maddie looked fabulous in her school outfit. I think she made a good choice of what to wear the first day.
And of course Jaden is looking very cool in his football clothes.
